It's been a LONG time since I last drew Mere. I think the last time she's graced my sketchbook was like...2008. o_O
Drawn while dad drove us up to Orlando last weekend. The sketch was so nice I had to spiff it up in photoshop. I wanted to keep the rough look of this since it's MERE and it's a nice look for the painting.
Second attempt at fire. I cheated by using the smudge tool. Don't tell anyone! ;}
Overall, pretty happy with this. Lots of fun and FIRE.

Lover your grasp on posture and your sense of motion here. Digital coloring also always impresses me, in that way that things one has an inability to do impress one. The sense of light and dark is quite dramatic and suits the motion of the piece.
